Katharina Weischede, AquaFlask NZ’s passionate brand ambassador, is shining on the world stage as she represents New Zealand in the Miss Asia Pacific International 2024 pageant. As the final competition date approaches on 7 October, Katharina has spent her time in the Philippines immersed in the philanthropic work that has defined her journey.
Upon landing in Manila on 20 September, she began a series of meaningful visits to local organisations close to her heart.
She spent 22 September with the He Cares Foundation, deepening her connection with the children she has come to care so much about.
A day later, Katharina shared a special moment with the Scot Foundation at Museong Pambata, which opened its doors exclusively for her visit. “Helping children has always been my passion,” Katharina said, expressing gratitude for these experiences.
She also visited AquaFlask New Zealand’s Philippine office on 23 September, where she met with the supportive team that will be cheering her on throughout her pageant journey.
On 4 October, Katharina participated in an outreach program alongside her fellow Miss Asia Pacific International contestants, reflecting her long-standing commitment to giving back. “I’ve been doing charity work since I was five,” she explained. “When we give, things have a way of multiplying—not just for us, but for the people we touch.”
Katharina has already earned accolades in the pageant’s preliminary events, including 1st runner-up in Best in Evening Gown, 2nd runner-up in Best in Swimsuit, 1st runner-up for National Costume, and Darling of the Press. With her compassionate spirit and AquaFlask NZ’s support, Katharina Weischede is not only a fierce competitor but also an inspiring advocate for positive change.
